Stars Turn Out in Style for Fantastic Four: First Steps London Premiere

Red Carpet Glamour: Marvel Stars Shine at Fantastic Four: First Steps London Premiere

London’s Leicester Square was electric last night as Marvel rolled out the red carpet for its newest reboot, Fantastic Four: First Steps. With fans lined up in droves, camera flashes lighting the night, and A-list celebrities gracing the scene, the event turned into more than just a film premiere — it became a celebration of Marvel’s next big chapter.

Helmed by up-and-coming director Alberto Hernández, First Steps takes audiences back to the beginning, but with a twist. Instead of the familiar blockbuster-heavy approach, Hernández promises a character-driven, emotionally grounded story. The film reintroduces Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) as they first discover their powers — and learn what it really means to become a team.

Spotlight on style: the cast brings Hollywood to London

The main cast turned the red carpet into a fashion runway.

Joseph Quinn (Reed Richards) looked timeless in a double-breasted black suit paired with minimalist silver accents.

Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm) commanded attention in a dazzling, floor-length metallic gown that shimmered under the London lights.

Paul Mescal (Johnny Storm) balanced classic and modern with a deep navy tuxedo, set off by a colorful silk pocket square.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm) channeled old-Hollywood elegance in a velvet jacket, bow tie, and polished dress shoes.

As the four posed together, it was clear the ensemble has already built genuine chemistry — something fans and early critics say shows on screen.

Speaking to press on the carpet, Hernández described the film as more than just an origin story: “It’s about family, responsibility, and finding out who you really are when the universe suddenly takes notice,” he said.

Vanessa Kirby added, “Even though it’s a cosmic superhero movie, at its heart it feels like a very personal journey for each of them.”

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also made an appearance, teasing that First Steps is only the beginning. “This Fantastic Four is a centerpiece of what’s coming next in the MCU,” Feige hinted. “Viewers who pay attention will notice details that tie into future films.”

Beyond the main cast, other Marvel actors turned out to support the franchise reboot. Tom Holland, Florence Pugh, and Letitia Wright were spotted greeting fans and snapping selfies. The biggest surprise came when Mahershala Ali appeared briefly on the carpet, fueling speculation about crossover storylines involving his upcoming Blade film.

Fans began gathering hours before showtime, many dressed in cosplay as classic Fantastic Four characters — complete with homemade suits, foam Thing hands, and light-up gadgets. The atmosphere was pure celebration, mixing nostalgia with excitement for a new era.
